How enrollment works
- Tell us who needs training. Send CLI an inquiry with your organization and estimated number of learners.
- We confirm the enrollment details. CLI will respond with the information needed to set up your learners.
- Your team completes training online. Learners work through the Mandt Relational Student Learning Portfolio at their own pace.
Why South Carolina organizations consider Mandt
South Carolina DDSN lists Mandt among its approved crisis-prevention curricula. For teams whose documented responsibilities are limited to prevention and nonphysical response, the Relational curriculum may provide the level of training the organization is seeking.
If employees are expected to use restraint, physical holding, releases, self-protection, or other hands-on interventions, Relational-only training is not sufficient for those duties.
Questions South Carolina teams ask
Can we enroll only one employee?
Yes. Online Mandt Relational training is $103 per learner with no minimum enrollment.
Is the training live or self-paced?
It is self-paced online training. CLI is not currently offering in-person Mandt training outside Maryland.
Is Relational-only right for every employee?
No. It is intended for the Relational curriculum and does not include Mandt Technical skills. Your organization should choose the training level based on each employee’s duties, provider policy, and the needs and plans of the people supported.
Does South Carolina specifically name the Relational-only level?
The official sources reviewed name Mandt at the curriculum-system level, not the Relational-only level. The organization remains responsible for determining the appropriate Mandt level for each role.
